At Mećavnik, Mokra Gora, Protocol on Cooperation between EPS and “Lotika” d.o.o. was signed
Two small HPPs, two solar and one biomass shall be constructed
(Mećavnik, May 16, 2012) At Mećavnik, Mokra Gora, the Protocol on Cooperation between JP EPS and “Lotika“ d.o.o. was signed today. Joint company which shall be investor of the construction of two hydro power plants at Crni Rzav, 1 MW each, two power plants running on non-accumulated solar energy, also 1 MW each, and one biomass power plant of the same capacity was formed by this Protocol. Protocol was signed by Aleksandar Vlajčić, Director of “EPS Renewable Sources“ on behalf of General Manager of JP EPS, and in the name of company “Lotika“ d.o.o. by the owner and renowned film director Emir Kusturica.
Dušan Petrović, Minister of Agriculture, Trade, Forestry and Water Management, Bratislav Čeperković, Executive Director of EPS, Slobodan Mihajlović, Director of “Elektrosrbija“, Stevan Milićević, Director of “Elektrodistribucija Beograd“, Gvozden Ilić, PhD, Director of “Centar“, Mijodrag Čitaković, Director of “Drinsko-Limske HPPs“ and Jovan Marković, the Mayor of Užice were present at the signing of the Protocol.
At the example of Mokra Gora, criteria for ensuring conditions for the promotion of energy efficiency and environmental protection shall be formulated, and particularly for the provision of sustainable use of protected areas.
