Modernization of the entire distribution system has also been planned, which includes:
- construction of sub-stations, as well as overhead and cable lines of all voltage levels in order to meet the growing electricity demand but also to improve voltage conditions and the quality of the supplied energy,
- rehabilitation, reconstruction and/or replacement of the existing obsolete equipment at a large number of substations,
- reconstruction of the existing lower voltage levels (35, 20, 10 and 0,4 kV) grid, which is in accordance with the local increase in electricity demand and electricity supply quality improvement,
- improvement, i.e. technological upgrading of the demand control system in order to introduce SMART GRID concept,
- development and procurement of the required equipment and modern software tools for automatization and facilities control at HV and MV in distribution companies,
- modernization of collection system, telecommunication system and other.
