The founder of JP EPS is the Republic of Serbia, and the rights of the Founder are realized by the Government of the Republic of Serbia. Bodies of Public Enterprise "Elektroprivreda" Serbia "are the Supervisory Board, the Executive Committee and the Director. The Supervisory Board and the Director are appointed by the Government of the Republic Serbia. The Executive Board appointed by the Executive Directors shall be appointed by the Supervisory Board on the proposal of the Director. Director is the President of the Executive Board.
As of July 1, 2015, EPS operates with three legal entities: parent company "Elektroprivreda Srbije", dependent company Operator distribution system "EPS Distribution" and the subsidiary "EPS Supply". JP EPS is vertical an organized company, which has founding rights in two subsidiary companies and three public companies in Kosovo and Metohija. Since June 1999, EPS has been unable to manage its capacity at Kosovo and Metohija.

Business Associations: EPS Trading Company d.o.o., Ljubljana was founded on 1 July 2014 as the first company which JP EPS has established abroad to trade in electricity. PE EPS based on founding has a significant share in companies: - Company for combined production of thermoelectric and thermal energy "Energija Novi Sad" a.d. Novi Sad, founded with the City of Novi Sad, in height of 50% of the Company's share capital; - The company "Ibarske hidroelektrane" d.o.o. Kraljevo, established by Seci-energia S.p.A, Italy, with a share of 49 per cent in the Company's capital; - Commercial the company "Moravske hidroelektrane" d.o.o. Belgrade, founded with "RWE Innogy", Germany, with participation of 49% of the Company's capital.
