Elektroprivreda Srbije is encouraging citizens to take advantage of the new, increased discount of seven per cent, replacing the previous five per cent reduction for timely bill payments.
- Starting with the October bill, all households opting to receive their electricity bill electronically via email and pay it by the 20th of the month will be eligible for a seven per cent discount. In this manner, we aim to encourage citizens to join us in helping to protect the environment, said Aleksandar Bjeličić, Executive Director of EPS Supply, speaking at the 20th International Energy Fair in Belgrade.
At the Elektroprivreda Srbije stand at the Belgrade Fair over the next three days, citizens can learn more about the advantages of switching from paper bills to electronic ones.
- Opting for an electronic electricity bill is the first step towards receiving a seven per cent discount. This can be done via the EPS Uvid u račun portal and app, at service counters in EPS branches, or by submitting a request through the EPS website. Choosing an e-invoice is straightforward, and the benefit is that customers receive their bill by email much earlier than they would with a paper version. The second step is to pay the bill by the 20th of the month, using whichever method they prefer and usually employ, said Bjeličić.
He noted that EPS, in enhancing its customer relations, is directing its efforts towards the digitization of services and expanding the range of digital offerings, with the aim of making communication with customers as swift and straightforward as possible — a priority for both the public and EPS itself.
