The most important projects presented at the Energy Fair


 

In 27 days, 250,000 users and 38,000 payments were registered on the new EPS portal "View Your Bill" said Jadranka Ristić, Director of the Public Supply Head Office, at the presentation of Elektroprivreda Srbije on the first day of the 18th International Energy Fair. “The portal was launched on 1st November as the result of the modernization and improvement of the business system. It allows quick and easy access to an e-bill immediately after creation, as well as safe and quick payment without going to the post office or bank.

She explained that the bills and payments from the previous three years are available on the portal. Ristić announced that the portal will continue to be improved, users will be able to file a complaint, it will be available in English as well. Furthermore, the creation of an application is in progress.

Aleksandar Jakovljević, Director of the Strategy Department, spoke about the development and importance of the project PSHPP Bistrica, who pointed out that the PSHPP Bistrica ​​was very important due to the increasing future participation of variable renewable sources. He explained that the preparation of the Conceptual Design and the Feasibility Study, as well as the Environmental Impact Assessment Study and the Immovable Cultural Heritage Study, were underway.

PSHPP Bistrica ​​is a strategic project of national interest in terms of achieving the goals of further development and integration of variable renewable sources (wind, solar) and decarbonization of Serbia's production mix“, said Jakovljević.

Ivana Đorđević, Director of the Prosumers Management Department in EPS Snabdevanje, presented the previous results regarding the cooperation with prosumers.

“From March of last year until today, we concluded more than 2,700 contracts, out of which 2,000 were with households, and 700 were with legal entities“,  explained Đorđević. “During this year, the installed capacity of generation capacity increased three times compared to last year and amounts to 37 MW“.

She pointed out that it was important that the future prosumers analyse their needs and adjust the investment in panels so that the annual generation of the generation facility is adjusted to the annual consumption.

Aleksandar Čelebić, the Head of the Rehabilitation Division at HPP Đerdap 1, explained how the rehabilitation of our largest hydro power plant had been carried out, with special reference to improving the technical characteristics of hydro turbines. That is why today Đerdap 1 achieves better results in generation and records generation records. Marko Mandić, Manager of Key Investment Projects 1 from the Department for Key Investment Projects, presented the projects for the construction of the wastewater plant in TENT B and the regulation of the Peštan River. According to Mandić, the wastewater plant will enable the adequate disposal and management of wastewater in TENT B, as well as the fulfilment of all norms from European, Serbian and local legislation regarding the emission of waste water.
