Joint Stock Company Elektroprivreda Srbije is the largest company in Serbia, representing economic and energy backbone of the country. Main activities of EPS JSC are electricity generation, supply, distribution and trading. 

EPS is fully committed to its mission - safe supply of electricity customers, under best market conditions, with constant improvement of service quality, environmental protection and welfare of the community where it operates.

EPS strives to be socially responsible, market oriented and profitable company, competitive on the European market with the significant influence in the region, recognized as a reliable partner to domestic and international companies.

Organization:

The Republic of Serbia is the founder and only shareholder of EPС JSC, and the Government of the Republic of Serbia exercises the Founder’s rights. Total share capital of EPS is 100 percent equity capital, divided to 36,510,509 voting shares with the nominal value of RSD 10,000 each. All ordinary shares were issued and they are owned by the founder.

Bodies of Joint Stock Company Elektroprivreda Srbije are the Assembly, the Supervisory Board and the Executive Board. The Assembly appoints members of the Supervisory Board, while the Supervisory Board appoints the General Manager and Executive Directors that make the Supervisory Board.

Company EPS Trgovanje ltd. Ljubljana was founded on July 1, 2014 as the first subsidiary that EPS founded abroad to trade electricity.

EPS is vertically organized company, with founding rights in two subsidiaries and three public enterprises in Kosovo and Metohija. As of June, 1999 EPS cannot operate its capacities in Kosovo and Metohija.
