With the support of two large cranes, the employees of "Kolubara-Građevinar" successfully erected a steel bridge on the Tamnava mines of MB "Kolubara" and placed a steel bridge on concrete pillars within the system of belt conveyors. The bridge weighs about 57 tons and is 40 meters long.

This work is one of the most complicated and demanding in this phase of work and is part of the implementation of the Contract for the construction of steel bridges of the conveyor belt system for the First ECS system of the opencast mine "Radljevo". This is a prerequisite for preparations for the operation of the First Overburden System, which will increase the production capacity of the overburden at this mine and provide a path to coal.

The value of the investment is RSD 375 million and envisages the construction and installation of a total of five steel bridges within the conveyor belt system. The Contract is divided into three phases and is scheduled to be completed at the end of March 2026. The bridge that has now been installed is part of the first phase, which includes another steel bridge for conveyors, and the start of the assembly of the second is planned in ten days. In the second phase, the construction of two more for ECS systems is planned, while one bridge is planned for the coal system, in the last phase of Contract implementation.

In addition to the works of "Kolubara-Građevinar" on the construction of steel bridges, the employees of the mine "Radljevo" are working in parallel on the preparation of the route for the installation of the system of belt conveyors.
