The digitalization of services has become an

Director for IT and Digitalization in EPS, at the conference ’’Energy up“. – Citizens
have recognized the benefits of EPS digital services and 300,000 people use
electronic electricity bills. The bill arrives by email immediately after it is
generated based on consumption data, there is no waiting, everything is simple
and fast.
At the "New Generation Energy System" panel,
she explained that digitalization is important for the future of the company
and the energy sector as a whole, because in this way EPS becomes more
accessible, transparent and closer to customers.
- SAP billing system has been introduced for all areas
of guaranteed supply and producer customers, and implementation is underway for
customers on commercial supply. We will continue to improve existing services
but also introduce new digital services as the market develops – said Andrejević.
The Executive Director for IT emphasized that
artificial intelligence and process automation are becoming key aspects of
digitalization and digital transformation.
- We apply artificial intelligence in electricity
consumption prediction and electricity price prediction, as well as in two
pilot projects to improve the maintenance and production planning process – said
Andrejević.
She pointed out that several, mutually integrated,
technical information systems have been introduced into EPS so far, thus
ensuring real-time production and trade management with maximum results.
