In these
difficult times, EPS shall do its best to meet the needs
of all citizens. The
interest rates will not be calculated if they are late for paying their bills,
and for the senior citizens we will extend the due date for payment with a five
percent discount, said Mr. Milorad Grčić, Acting Director of PE EPS.
- I would
like to thank senior citizens, send my greetings to all of them and ask them
personally to stay at home, to take care of themselves and not to worry and
hurry to pay the bills. We will
calculate a five percent discount for them, regardless the duration of the emergency
situation – noted Mr. Grčić.
He notes
that during the emergency situation, EPS will not calculate the interest rate
to anyone who is late for paying bills in this period, but at the same time EPS
will not allow any attempt of abuse.
Electricity
production has costs, people who work have to get their salaries, they have to
buy food for their families, explains
