Households in Serbia saved electricity in February as well. A discount for the rational consumption of electricity compared to February in the previous two years was achieved by 1.6 million households, that is, 49.4 percent of them reduced the consumption of electricity by more than 5 percent.
The largest discount of 40 percent on electricity bills was achieved by 22 percent of households. A 20 percent discount received 12 percent of households. A 25 percent reduction in bills was achieved by almost 6 percent of households, while a 30 percent discount was calculated for the same number of households.
An additional discount of five percent received by customers who increased the participation of the lower tariff in the monthly calculation by at least five percent
was achieved by 425,534 households, i.e. 13 percent.
The biggest electricity savings were achieved in Belgrade, Niš, Požarevac, Kragujevac, Subotica, Sombor, Sremska Mitrovica.
