Production capacity

​„Elektroprivreda Srbije”​ has 22 thermal units, 49 hydro units, 1 pump storage hydropower plant with 2 units, and 1 pumping plant with 2 pumps.

Since 1990, the maximum annual generation of power plants managed by EPS was realized in 2013 – 37,433 GWh of electricity.

 

9 TPPs and CHPs

Installed capacity – 4,840 MW

Mean annual generation – 24,360 GWh, which makes approximately 69% of electricity generation in EPS

 

Nikola Tesla A and B TPPs

Installed capacity – 3,066 MW
Mean annual generation – 17,031 GWh, which makes approximately 49% of electricity generation in EPS

Kolubara TPP and Morava TPP
Installed capacity - 364 MW
Mean annual generation – 1,241 GWh, which makes approximately 3.6% of electricity generation in EPS

Kostolac A and B TPPs
Installed capacity – 1,007 MW
Mean annual generation – 5.875 GWh, which makes approximately 17% of electricity generation in EPS

Since 1990, the maximum annual generation of thermal power plants of PE EPS was realized in 2013 – 26,537 GWh of electricity.



Panonske CHPs

Capacity - 403 MW
Mean annual generation – 212.5 GWh, which makes approximately 0.6% of electricity generation in EPS

Hydropower plants
Capacity – 3.015 MW
Mean annual generation – 10,537 GWh, which makes approximately 30% of electricity generation in EPS

Djerdap HPPs
Capacity - 1.396 MW 

Mean annual generation amounts to 6,783 GWh, which makes approximately 19% of electricity generation in EPS


Vlasinske hydro power plants and Pirot hydro power plant mean generation amounts to 397.3 GWh, which makes approximately 1.1% of electricity generation in EPS

Drinsko-Limske HPPs
Capacity of 9 HPPs amounts to 1,390 MW
Mean annual generation amounts to 3,322 GWh, which makes approximately 10% of electricity generation in EPS

 

Small HPPs

Capacity 20.8 MW

Mean annual generation of small hydropower plants in EPS amounts to approximately 35 GWh of electricity.
