“Elektroprivreda Srbije" warns citizens about an ongoing internet fraud scheme (phishing campaign) in which recipients are sent fraudulent emails falsely claiming to contain electricity bills.
We would like to emphasize that “Elektroprivreda Srbije" has not changed the method of sending or the content of its emails and never sends customers notifications containing payment links.
EPS has reported these phishing emails to the National CERT and the Ministry of Interior (MUP), Department for High-Tech Crime.
We urge citizens who receive such messages not to open suspicious links. It is particularly important not to disclose any personal or financial information.
