Elektroprivreda Srbije (EPS) is organising a public consultation on the project entitled “Environmental and Social Studies and Consultation Meetings in Relation to the Radoinja Dam Reinforcement Works", which is being carried out as part of the preparatory studies for the construction of the Bistrica Pumped-Storage Hydropower Plant.
The public consultation will be held on 3 September 2026, commencing at 10:00 a.m., at the administrative building of Lim Hydropower Plants, located at Vojvoda Bojović Square 4, Nova Varoš. The consultation is being organised in accordance with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Guidelines for Environmental and Social Considerations, issued in January 2022.
During the consultation, key information about the project will be presented, with particular emphasis on its technical, environmental and social aspects.
The construction of the Bistrica Pumped-Storage Hydropower Plant is one of Serbia's most significant strategic energy projects and will contribute to ensuring a secure and reliable supply of electricity.
