At its session
held on 28 August 2025, the Council of the Energy Agency of the Republic of
Serbia approved the decision on the electricity tariff for guaranteed supply,
which will take effect from 1 October 2025. The updated tariff schedule is
available here.
The average
electricity price for customers entitled to guaranteed supply under regulated
tariffs (households and small-scale consumers) will increase by 6.6%, primarily
due to higher costs associated with access to the transmission and distribution
networks.
The threshold
between the red and blue tariff zones will be lowered from 1,600 kWh to 1,200
kWh, resulting in a further increase in the average price of up to 1.9% for
eligible customers. However, this adjustment will only affect bills for
consumers whose monthly consumption exceeds 1,200 kWh — representing
approximately 1% of all customers between April and October, around 3% in
February, March and November, and up to 7% in December and January.
The Council’s
decision approving the guaranteed supply tariff will be published in the
Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia. Even after this adjustment,
Serbia’s guaranteed supply electricity price (excluding duties and taxes)
remains among the lowest in Europe.
