One of the priorities of EPS operation is process-based organization of business operations and compliance with the requirements of the international standards of management system.  Management system implementation also foresees their integration and harmonization into integrated management system – IMS. Through implementation, certification, maintenance and continuous improvement of management systems, „Elektroprivreda Srbije” improves its business effectiveness and efficiency, continually works on understanding the company’s business context and the requests and expectations of the customers and all other stakeholders, identifying and reducing risks, and encouraging opportunities.

Integrated management systems contribute to the standardization of the processes with the aim of reaching significant savings and they provide recognizable benefits for „Elektroprivreda Srbije”​ and the environment. „Elektroprivreda Srbije” is absolutely committed to business ethics, environmental protection, health and safety at work, energy efficiency improvement and information security as well as social responsibility, risk management and business continuity.

The necessity of applying the requirements of quality infrastructure and meeting the legal requirements of technical regulations have been recognized, in a systematic and organized manner in accordance with the Energy Law and energy related requirements of EU Directives.

Also, important activities are both the harmonization of the application of quality infrastructure requirements in the entire PE EPS and the rights and obligations arising from it.
