КWhat is the difference between a supplier and a distributor?
The supplier concludes supply contracts with natural and legal persons, issues bills for consumed electricity and ensures the secure supply of all customers with electricity, under the most favorable market conditions. The distributor is responsible, among other things, for the safe, reliable and secure operation of the distribution system and the quality of electricity delivery, the development of the distribution system, the construction of the distribution system user connection, the correctness and reliability of electricity metering at the points of receipt and delivery from and to the distribution system.

You can submit complaints of this type directly to the distribution system operator "Elektrodistribucija Srbije" d.o.o or to your supplier, who will forward your complaint to the Operator.
Can I sign a contract for a period shorter than one year?
Yes. The commercial supply contract is concluded according to your needs. The contract period can be longer than one year.

Do commercial supply customers pay the public service broadcasting fee?
Yes. The fee is a mandatory element of the monthly bill for electricity supplied to all suppliers who carry out the activity of supplying end users with electricity on the territory of the Republic of Serbia. The supplier invoices and collects the public service broadcasting fee based on data received from RTS/RTV, i.e. RTS/RTV each month submits to the supplier a list of metering points for which the public service broadcasting fee needs to be calculated. (Law on the Temporary Regulation of the Method of Collection of the Public service broadcasting fee).
Can I be exempt from paying the public service broadcasting fee?
Exemption from paying the public service broadcasting fee is carried out by RTS, so it is necessary to send the request to RTS.

What are the conditions, procedure and consequences of suspending electricity supply?
Suspension of electricity supply to the end user at the request of the supplier is a temporary measure implemented by the Distribution System Operator “Elektrodistribucija Srbije” d.o.o. Belgrade, at the request of EPS JSC Belgrade, due to the unfulfilled obligations of the end user (due and unpaid debts for consumed electricity) under the Supply Contract and implies a physical interruption of the supply of electricity to the end user's metering point at the metering device. Before suspending electricity supply, EPS JSC Belgrade will warn the end user in writing to settle the debts within the legally specified period (15 days for legal entities), or otherwise send a request for suspension of electricity supply to “Elektrodistribucija Srbije”. Suspension of supply does not terminate the Electricity Supply Contract, which means that the end user is obliged to, for the entire duration of the suspension, settle the obligations that do not depend on electricity consumption, namely tariffs for "cost of access to the distribution/transmission system", VAT, public service broadcasting fee and other costs prescribed by law. The end user whose electricity supply has been suspended has the right to file a complaint to EPS JSC Belgrade, which must be submitted in writing to the address Masarikova 1-3, 11000 Belgrade.
Where and how can I change my supplier?
ТThe electricity market in the Republic of Serbia opened on 01 January 2014, which means that customers are also given the right (but not the obligation) to choose their electricity supplier. Customers can find an overview of licensed suppliers, as well as the Rules on Changing Suppliers, on the website of the
Energy Agency of the Republic of Serbia
How are disputes resolved and what are my rights as a Customer in the event of a dispute?

In the event that the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it will be resolved by the competent court in Belgrade.
