Basic information

With the adoption of the Energy Law, all electricity customers have the opportunity to choose their supplier, and only households and small customers can exercise the right to guaranteed supply.

All customers who have lost the right to guaranteed supply and are in one of the following segments are obliged to choose their supplier in the electricity market and conclude a commercial supply contract::

meet the criteria in accordance with the law governing accounting, to be classified in

medium-sized legal entities,
large legal entities,
entrepreneurs who meet the criteria for classification as medium-sized and large legal entities
natural persons who are owners/users of facilities intended for carrying out commercial activities

Customers who meet one or more of the conditions and have not selected their supplier within the specified period are entitled to last resort supply.

Commercial supply customers are mainly legal entities and entrepreneurs and are classified into certain categories depending on consumption and legal form:

Small commercial customers
Commercial customers
Public sector customers

without changing the contracted price and quantity of electricity during the contract period
full supply with balance responsibility
the ability to send a summary invoice (with calculations attached) for all points of receipt and delivery, send summary invoices for grouped points of receipt and delivery according to customer needs, or send invoices for each point of receipt and delivery individually
